Late-Night Conversation Topics
Hey, so I heard that you’re a big fan of
The Simpsons
Yeah, I love all of the seasons. I especially like the last few seasons where they started to get really dark.
That’s interesting. What do you think is the secret to the show’s longevity?

Do you like music? I love music. I’m into all sorts of genres, but I tend to prefer rock and blues. What about you? What genres do you like?

Movies: Favorite Films & Characters
Tonight as I was lying in bed scrolling through my Twitter feed, I came across a tweet from my crush criticizing one of my favorite films. Now, I’ve seen this film a million times and I really like it, so I was a little bit defensive when I Retweets the comment. Unfortunately, the way that I responded made it clear that I don’t really get the film.
So, I decided that I needed to do some research on it. I started by looking up some reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and I was surprised to see that the majority of people didn’t like the film. However, I still wanted to see it for myself because I really like the director and I thought that the film could be great.
But once I started watching it, I realized that it was really bad. In fact, it was so bad that I actually laughed at some points. And that’s not something that I usually do when I’m watching a film. So, I think that my crush was right when he said that the film was terrible.
So, I guess the moral of the story is that if you want to impress your crush, don’t try and convince them that your favorite film is great. Instead, just let them know that you actually laughed at it and that it wasn’t worth watching.
